Last weekend, Sidney Penguin and I flew to Dallas for a hockey double-header. Sidney was very excited to see his Penguins on Sunday, but had the added bonus of getting to see his old teammate, Ryan Whitney, with the Ducks on Saturday!

When we went to games over Christmas, it was too dark to take any pictures outside. Sidney hasn't been back to the American Airlines Center (the AAC) since the All-Star game a few years ago....it brought back memories!
It looks like a giant airport hangar....very nice!Pictures of downtown Dallas almost always include Reunion Tower (it's like a big ball on a stick!) Sidney wishes we could have gotten a little better picture of it, but it was a surprisingly cold and windy day in Texas. Perhaps we can do a more proper tour of the city in the future :)
That teeny, tiny thing between those two buildings? Yeah, that's Reunion Tower...Even though our seats were in the nosebleed section, we did get down to the glass for the pre-skate. We were behind some folks, but we do believe that Satan looked directly at us!

I don't tend to take many pictures because they always look blurry to me when I review them....but here are a few that turned out surprisingly well:
Kunitz stretching
Geno!(I really need to invest in a new camera.....)
Anyhow, Sidney and I had a great time on our whirlwind trip (though I was terribly torn on Sunday.....Pens win/Stars lose....). We are now back in Nashville and looking forward to this final stretch to playoff season (Sidney Penguin says don't worry....the Penguins will go to the playoffs. Don't ask me how he knows ;) )
Stay tuned for more adventures and a big announcement very soon!!
